    Merc shift/throttle plate....

I know some here have mounted the Merc shift/throttle plate off the engine, or stb'd exhaust riser.

If anyone can help me w/this, I'd appreciate it.
My goal is to have a virtually naked engine, so moving the plate to smewhere else would be helpful.
So, could someone post some pictures of what, or how, they did this?

    Thanks in advance.

George I used a U clamp to attach it to the stern lifting ring rod using two existing holes, it actually makes a much smoother bend going to the shield. It can be mounted almost any where, it does not require a stout mount it will operate while held in your hand. I have seen some screwed to a wood block under the deck lip.
