Bass fishing on St Johns river

Just setup a trip for Bass fishing 2 days on the St Johns River then going south for 4 days of fishing in Marathon Key.
First time for Bass fishing in Florida. I hope to score an 8 lb or better bass! I can then cross this off my bucket list!
I will be keeping an eye out for any Donzi 's ,will be sure to say hey!

Sorry guys, just got back from the Keys today, missed your posts before I left.
I had a 1 day Bass trip setup through BassOnline with a professional guide.
It poured down rain and was extremely windy on the day I reserved the trip and had to cancel,he was booked solid for 2 months.
So we left Ormand beach and headed south to the Keys ,hooked an 80 # Tarpon on light tackle and had loads of fun here.
Great vacation and somehow I think I will have another shot at that 8 pound bass in the future.

Bass fishing is great fun but it require lot of efforts in order to catch such fish. It will be great moment when successfully catch it.
