Pretty cool. I'm glad they didn't ruin the video with music. I "liked" it on YouTube and linked it to my FB. Thanks.

Sorry but that is not the boat I want to be near when I am out relaxing on the water in my WOOD BOAT. That thing is a menace with it’s noise and dangerous speed, sometimes with knuckleheads at the helm. By the way get a bigger lake. That thing takes up too much room. Everyone on the lake has to listen to it.

sorry but some wood guys have more knots in their head then in their boat

    thank GOD for termites

It's only a 45 minute drive for me. when is it? the one on my lake is usually the 3rd weekend in july.
I love when the woodies tell me the donzi is a fine Italian boat

seriously most of them were very nice to me when I brought the 16 into their world but there's always one

Yup, Matty, looks like only the one turd. Most of them seem pretty open minded and cool with it even though they are into vintage wood boats.

Anyone doing the Roar-n-Soar next month?

It is Polk county, FL by Fantasy of Flight museum. Supposably a lot of classics, etc.

THE 2011 Hopatcong ACBS show was June 24-26.

I spoke to them several years ago and they are ready for Classic 'Glas.

If it is the same weekend this year that would be the weekend after the Dustoff might be in the cards. what chapter of the ACBS runs that show? I think I am already a member of the ACBS mid-hudson or hudson valley chapter.

    Hey,

That Monster Donzi is one VERY COOL boat (sub-zero).

I'm a ACBS member woody boater (now with a C18 too) and it's all about the sound baby! Those woodies resonate like a fine guitar or violin...generally fiberglass boats don't resonate as well but the Donzi makes up for it a fantastic sound all it's own.

I'm thinkin' when I repower my Donzi I'll put the old lump in my woodie....
That ought to resonate the H*LL out of them!

I really have no time for the "dippys"(dissapearing propeller boats, to the uninitiated) though. I can't understand the attraction.
