    One beautiful Minx.

Tried to get a friend to buy Your #165 Minx Barrie, when Dohrn had her for sale, since I had more boats than I could handle at that point, but he missed out. Glad she found a good home. Did You stick the 383 in her yet?

You don't to see many yellow ones, let alone the Italian windshield. Sharp boat.

Hi Lars...(and Ken and Joe) ! That picture of my yellow Minx is great ! It took me awhile to realize that I hadn't taken that picture ! Did you get it from Dohrn when your friend was considering the boat ?

From my research, I've only come across two yellow and white Minx's and the Donzi sales brochures don't list it as an offered colour. Rose (Dohrn's wife) is the service manager at the marine dealer where I purchased the boat....she mentioned Ken, that the previous owner had special ordered it. The boat was in perfect , all original condition....all the gauges, upholstery.....and yes Joe, original gel.

Yes, I dropped in the 383 over last winter so I had a full summer's enjoyment from it this year. The stock 350 was still working fine but I had a friend who has built in the order of 15 383 strokers over the years and he offered to build me one, in exchange for an AR-15 of mine he wanted....so a very good trade !

I also replaced the rub rail which made a huge improvement to the boat's appearance....upgraded the stereo system and installed some hatch struts.

I'm 64 years old...and this is the first boat I've ever owned ! I had a friend that had a yellow sweet 16 back in the late '70's and I swore that if I ever got a boat , it would be a yellow Donzi !

My only issue is that since the ignition system was upgraded to an all digital MSD system, my tach no longer works ! Is there something I can do to convert the digital output of the ignition system back to an analog signal for the tach ?

As I'm a new boat owner, I haven't really opened her up yet....but maybe this summer !!

I am running a MSD on my 454 and I installed new gauges 3-4 years back. Tach works fine. I never gave it a second though as the stock tack also worked fine. I think the tach connection is a single lead off the MSD box. If my memory serves me correctly.

    Lake Winnipesaukee, New Hampshire

Lake Winnipesaukee, New Hampshire Let me tell you it is rough with boat wake galore during the weekend. This is a short clip when a thunder storm threat moved in so there were very few boats out. The South side of the lake was raining the North side was dry
