Help Please - Missing OMC KC Part

During re-assembly, I discovered a missing part for linking the shift cable to the upper outdrive belcrank. A $3 part - no where to be found in my parts bucket nor any marine supply nor anywhere on the web. Obsolete - is all I'm running into.
Item 12 in attachment, part number 0913913, I have item 17 and the pin - any help\ideas - Please....

The link used by Merc on the Bravo looks pretty similar.
I'm wondering if it could be "almost" interchangable, or as a guide to fab one from scratch???????

Call em to confirm - save time and heartache if they dont.

BRP bought out OMC in 2001. This is the source some dealers use. http://shop.evinrude.com/ click on the upper right for model year guide pdf file. Click on right for electronics parts catalog.
