Look for a Shelby-style car steering wheel. I think that would look cool on a classic.

I wanted more of a vintage 'banjo' style wheel for mine and found a Grant at a resonable price.

That is a great looking banjo spoked wheel -.
I agree that Nardis are great looking wheels, but they can be pricey. I had to install them in a couple Jaguars to complete the look I was after.
I think I still have a nice looking wood steering wheel with black spokes. If you are interested, just let me know and I will find it and post pictures. You will have to find the correct hub kits for any wheel you want to install, but that is usually not a problem. Bill
