    volvo hydraulic trim pump ??

anyone have a wiring diagram for a volvo trim pump. I have the harness it looks to be complete and connects directly to the battery with an 8 awg pos and neg wires. then it has 2 relay packs. a connector for the motor. the only two remaining wires are a green and a blue which i assume are blue up and green down coming from the trim switch. my question is what is being switched 12 volts or is it just looking for a ground? so what do I wire into the center pole on my SPDT a ground or 12 volts??

    thanks

I am almost positive that the green or blue need a 12V+ signal to activate the relays, but I could check on mine tomorrow if you can't be sure from the wiring diagram Bill

    Mike, Bill,

Thanks that's what i was told from a merc guy how the merc works just wanted to confirn the volvo was similar. this pump is for a newer 290 and was almost new. I am having some connection issues now the old pump and hoses used different size connections. will be bilge diving at the boat bone yard today.
