A Bravo will only fit a Bravo transom shield, not sure what m1 is. Phil

    outdrives

Hi,I was told my 1981 22 classic has a M1 Merc outdrive, few years before the Alpha, I can buy a complete Bravo set up, I was wondering how much of the boat am I cutting up, or will it mount in the same spot?? thanks for the reply, Gary

If the "M1" has the same cutout as the Aplha One, the only cutting is to add two additional bolt holes through the transom for the Bravo. In other words, the Bravo transom cutout is the same as an Alpha cutout, but with two additional holes.
