    What is the approximate weight of said boat w/twin Chevy's SB's and Volvo drives?

    Hi I have one with that setup and was told by PO that is is 6800 lbs . Serious wave crusher!

    A 27' sport with SB chevy's & Volvo drives is around 5000 pounds dry. The Maltese is a bit more at 5200 pounds.

    Mark, i have that same portfolio, and what i really like is the aproximate speed of 55 MPH ..................WOW .

    Thats about right too, mine does 56 gps...sbc 320 hp volvo 280's

    I pull mine with a tohoe which gets the job done around town, not ideal on the highway, I need a good cushion in front for breaking. I think I remember seeing a pic of mange in sweeden towing his sport with a volvo wagon... yikes.
