Hi , just bought a 22ZX Donzi with a 350 mag and it has 23 Mirage plus ,its hitting REV limiter at 5100 at 3 quarter throtle with 2 people shows 60 Mph on the gauge with 3/4 tank of fuel and 1/4 trim level any higher hits rev limiter. Having Prop shop redo the prop to 25 " and feather cut the blades . Running a alpha 1 drive I think 1:47 gear.

I have seen Bravo 1/ 4 blades 24 " pitch props on the 454 models 310 Hp , was wondering if other owners have tried a Tempest 24p or a Revolution 24 p on this boat and speed results and drivability. Also heard that the Hydromotive Quad 4 /24P would be a good prop.

Looking for suggestions to fine tune my new toy and if any one has these type of props for sale.

does not sound like 1:1.47 to me. My GT21, sbc/bravo 1:1.5 with Mirage 23+ runs 60 mph and revs 4400, you can't have that much prop-slip in my opinion, but let the experts chime in... can't hurt trying a 25, I upgraded from Blackmax 21 to Mirage 23p, gained 4 mph and revs went down from 4600 to 4400

maybe it is a 1.62 drive - that would line up with the reported numbers better?

I am assuming it is an Alpha I?
