    Drum Roll Please. . . . .

    My 1967/2011 Donzi Ski-Sporter, C16-409!

    I couldn't be more pleased.

Enjoy, and thanks to everyone who has supplied help, guidance, moral support and words of encouragement.

27 months and 4.5X over budget.

I took it out tonight (Reed's Lake, unfortunately without Parnell), and it ran/performed flawlessly. I love the sound with the inline mufflers. Pleasant, and not barky/harsh like SBC can be with 3" exhaust.

STUNNING piece of work, Bill. The boat is absolutely gorgeous. Congratulations, and thanks for truly bringing back one of the early ones.

    Thumbs up

Personally "Drum Roll" is weak! More like "Base Drum" great job, first thought that come to mind is you in your white suit standing in a cloud of dust! The dust has settled and turned into another fine Classic Gem!

It is the original, aluminum rubrail. It was pretty dinged up, and looked bad, so I had it powder coated white. The powder coating filled in most of the dings, and looks great!

I got the idea from the George Carter. He powder coated the rubrail on his Minx to a brilliant red, and it looked great.

    Budget.............

So the kids didn't have tuition for school, you DID take care of the important things!

    The boat looks great!
The rail should hold up as long as the boat.

Really, really nice looking Donzi. You should be very proud off what you have accomplished. Looks like a custom "new" boat. Have lots fun with it.
