    Distributor - Replacement Module

In the midst of redoing 350 Mag ('87) and I need to replace the ignition module in the distributor. Looking at:

    1. Original style
    2. Mallory 9-29804
    3. Petronics

    Any suggestions?

Just convert to Full marine HEI... If my memory is correct I offer them starting out fairly inexpensively for the complete kit with wiring pigtails, coil distributor & wire set..

If it is a Thunderbolt IV, there isn't much advantage to going with anything else. Replace the pick up with the stock part.

Tbolt tops any of the other after market stuff, I have worked on this stuff a good chunk of my life rarely will the Merc ignition give you any grief. I don't have enough fingers and toes to count how many others have krapped the bed. I am running Tbolt IV from 1986 still flawless, and yes I have some serious $$ in my engine!
