    1966 Hatch Hardware

I have a 66 Barrelback and trying to mock all the hardware before I prime and paint it.
I have a good idea of the Bow nav light and lifting eyes. I may go with pop up cleats... Or not.
I also know what hinges are used for the hatch but im seeing different hatch locks. On some older boats im seeing the traditional center round locking mechinism.
On others im seeing a locking hasp on the corners of the hatch... One each corner... ( Perko maybe) I tried to nail it down using the search engine but had no luck...
    Thank you in advance...

The Mistress would have used the corner latches. You can see the evidence of where they used to be on the deck. Let me see if I can remember where to get some that are "close" to original

    Edit.

Original hardware would have been something like the Perko 1108 called a hold down clamp.

I offer both styles. The small ones that lock down on each side of the hatch that mount to the outside of the deck & hatch are also the least expensive..

    Engine hatch latch

Try this site-- I'm thinking of buying the classic round latch for my 1969 Ski Sporter : http://www.donzidirect.com/hardware/...s-catches.html

    Buddy,
These are the ones you need. They are almost exact to the originals.
