Classic 16 Trim Tab Switch Question?

I have a question about the location of the trim tab switch on a 99 16 Classic. It came factory with Bennett Tabs. There are no holes in the dash for the switch and the starboard inner panel was missing (along with most everything else) when I got the boat. So at this point not sure where to put it. Don't want to drill holes in the dash if don't have to. Thought about spendin the money for the switches that mount on the steering wheel? Any advice would greatly be appreciated.

I have used steering wheel trim switches for outdrive trim, but I'm not familiar with trim tab switches in the wheel. I think that might be too much.

I decided to mount my tab switches on the cockpit sidewall, just down from the top, by the throttle, so they could be easily reached while driving, yet keeping my hand right by the throttle.

Look at the picture in post 428.
