    Dye the oil.

Does anyone know if there is some sort of dye I can put in the outdrive to make it easier to check the level? I can never see it on the dipstick, what is safe to use. Thanks

Take your dip stick and drill small holes in it at the add, 1/2 full mark, and full mark will be a lot eaiser to see level.

When I raced Ford 60's I used straight Caster oil, a few of us put about an oz of India ink in. Did that for several years with no harm/
