To Speedo or Not to Speedo

Im not talking about the bating suits Carl..lol
Im laying out may dash and origionally it didnt include a speedo, or a trim guage. I would like to have both but if I do then I need to come up wth a whole new dash design... Not that it is a hard thing to do, but I was hoping to keep the interior as origional as possible.
    Thoughts?

The problem with a speedo (speed measuring device) is they tend to show how fast you arent going.

I'm not sure I've ever seen a boat without the speedo, but I like having my 60mph pitot tube speedo. Always a big hit with the passengers too. For real data I carry a hand held garmin. If you put one in the original spot I think you'll be glad you did.
