Found a Leak!!!!

Alright guys. Did some more testing. I finally came up with a way to test my stainless marine risers. And. . . . . . .

one of my stainless marine risers was leaking from the water jacket into the exhaust pipe. It was a very small leak, but definately was leaking. Probably leaked more once heated up. The leak was also on the side that was visibly worse.

I tested both manifolds again and found no leaks.

So, I will replace both SM risers.
Or, will replace exh altogether.

Looking for good exhaust for reasonalbe price that will support 650 hp, for Bravo application.

I have another suggestion! Fairly important IMO, with long tails no one should use anything but the very soft/flexible exhaust hose. This is especially true with SM setups, their ring connection does not have the support of a typical four bolt connection. That was the reason I did not buy SM, being a mech for many years it just does not look substantial enough. Sorry to hurt a few feelings but I like things that do not give me any misgivings.
