    Yet another deck coming off thread....

    Got the phone call I was expecting, so the deck is coming off the boat.


    How much are plastic gas tanks for 22c's? Where is everyone getting them?

    Looks like we're going to start ripping it apart tuesday, I'll keep the pics coming.

    Moeller makes the tanks for Donzi.
    Bob (Tidbart) has a drawing. Maybe it has some contact info.
    They may have an agreement w/Donzi, so you may have to go through them.
    You give up some volume w/ the plastic tank.

    I had 2 alum 50gal tanks made last yr for $495ea.

    That sounds about right.
    A tank mfgr told Chachi that he could build most any tank for about $10.00/gallon.
    Mine was 62 gallons for $600.00.

    Nope, it's all to code and USCG approved.
    Also, the tank is foamed in and very well supported.
    No need to reinvent the wheel here, it'll last as long, or longer than you will.
