    Source for starter

    need a new starter for my 2004 26ZX, 496 Mag HO. I have found several sources, just looking for feedback from board members.

    I work at one of the larger marine part houses, the only advice I will give is do not buy anything electric from MES! Buy either OEM or Arco you will be way ahead of the game, we have totally dropped MES the return rate is off the page!

    What do you think of the smaller high torque starters?

    Very nice to handle in tight quarters, they do not hold up as well as the old fat wire wound ones.
