    Motor Dist

I found this company that has sattelite offices nationwide. Prices seem to be the best I have found so far and they didnt appear to skip on quality.
I am going with the 383 grade 2 400hp 435 torque long block for $2350.
They will have it marine ready. 2 yr warranty. The best I have found so far and im going to stop looking

I really do trust all of your opinions. I plan on keeping the boat for a long time and would rather go with a new, fresh motor . Guess the search continues. I'm I drunk ? Be quiet Fixx. Lol

LOL! What isn't Chinese? I thought this needed to be said . The Chevy 3.4 V- 6 engines that are in the Equinox, are made and assembled in Singapore. Here I thought I was buying American Mussel
,and I ended up with Chinese clams

machinist ,bore it deeper, ream it bigger, and lap it to a fine finish

Is there not a reliable, local engine builder you can go to? That way you get exactly what you want, if the guy is worth his salt, you get the motor dyno'd, installed and set-up properly, any problems and at least he is close by.......and you are not paying for shipping etc.....

Check out this place. It is right down the street from my shop. I have heard good things about them but I do not have first hand experience with them. I did meet someone at AOTH X last year that bought two engines from them and he was pleased.
