    Wax for clearcoat?

Had my 22 painted last year with PPG and 2 coats of clear coat on top.

What UV protective wax should I use on this?

    Thanks

I would use whatever wax that you see fit and then hit it with 303 Protectant. Amazing stuff, will work on just about anything.

Because you are working with a clearcoat,You can also try washing, followed by clay bar, then polishing prior to applying the Collonite wax to really make your paint pop!!

    Thanks

I am after something that won't hurt the clearcoat and has lots of UV protectant.

Specifically which Collinite product do you think will work best?

    Thanks again. Great info.

How about Collinite #925 fiberglass boat wax? Then some 303 protectant over that.

Found the answer on the web site..

Is your Collinite wax clear-coat safe?

    Yes.
The following waxes are clear-coat recommended:
    - 845 Insulator Wax
    - 476s Super Doublecoat Auto Wax
    - 885 Fleetwax Paste
    - 915 Marque D’Elegance Auto Wax

    I use the insulator wax.

Fixx is correct, deck becomes slick.

Modern paints contain UV inhibiters when manufactured. The real purpose of waxes and paint sealants is to maintain that top coat of paint.
You want to use a wax or sealant for clearcoat and dont use 303 on top of it. the only thing you will accomplish is removing some or all of your wax.
303 is not made to be applied over a waxed clearcoated finish.
