    Covico wheel on a classic...

Looking to purchase a White Covico steering wheel. Rex marine has 14 1/2" dia. Rep said they were a standard 2 1/2" dish. Does that sound right? I seem to recall "no dish" on the old boats....
Should I look at another source?
    Thanks, Don

The dish is correct... Or as close to correct as you are going to find unless you find a period original and have it refinished...

I bought a replacement White Covico wheel for my 1972 Hornet. The original had been replaced by a nice Momo wheel, but I wanted it to be original. I am very happy with the Covico. I ordered it from Rex Marine. My .02 worth!

I have a Covico on my 18 Classic. Compared to some original wheels I've seen, it appears correct. And it looks the part. You'll be happy with the product.

Thanks so much for the input. Covico from Rex on the way. Can't have the real thing yet, but at least I will have a bit of the "feel" while blasting in my overpowered eggbeater!
