    what the ????

I've had a broken cavitation plate on the Alpha's lower since I've owned my Minx.
I decided I would have it and the skeg repaired. While the is leg out ,putting in new U- joints. So basically the welder wants me to strip all the plastic off, to prevent Melting from the TIG welder. I took the water pump impeller housing off and found 2 pieces of an old impeller restricting the flow. Glad I took it apart. So this is the kicker. I have the upper sitting on the bench to finish the U-joint install .I noticed a puddle of water on the uppers Cav plate. So I wipe it off, and it comes back. Then I Notice it is coming from under the beauty sticker/stripe. Any one ever seen this? I'm think maybe it corroded a hole through to the water pump passage. Any thoughts would be appreciated

I took the sticker off, there appears to be a vent hole there. It must of had ice in it some where and the water bled out as it defrosted.

If you took a sticker off and water poured out from somewhere it isn't supposed to be, replace the sticker! It will save you lots of $$$$.
