While looking at my "benchseat 18's" old Volvo~Penta outdrive which is in very sad shape, and completely internally frozen, I decided to look-up some used Volvo 270/280 drive parts prices online.
Doing a Google search the first listing that came-up was

I know nothing at all about these folks~~~
They seem to have an entire warehouse & "Boneyard" full of old scrapped & NOS sterndrive parts.
Here is what I found~~~

Are they Kidding ?
I cannot believe these high prices~~~for OLD USED Gearcases !
Are these just common used Volvo 270/280 parts prices ?
OR
Do they re-build these gearcases at these prices ?
They also will "re-build YOUR complete old Volvo outdrive~~~
I can only guess what they charge for this "rebuilding service" & shipping ?
At these fantastic prices I might be better-off, & ahead of the game, with a complete NEW outdrive system !
What do the various complete NEW Mercruiser or Volvo V8 ratio outdrives cost today ?
Are these old Volvo parts that hard to find; and that darn valuable ?
If one is to believe their prices these old parts gearcase units are made from Unobtainium !
