does Donzi use flotation foam in the hull?
does Donzi use flotation foam in the hull?
FISH HARD
No.
Fill it with water and it will sink
Mario
Try replacing a gas tank and you'll find out! LOTS OF FOAM!
yes and no flotation foam was made mandatory by the USCG in the 70's for boats under 19 feet that's when the Hornet went to a 20 instead of a 19 so if you have a late 70's 16 or 18 you'll have foam if someone didn't remove it.
Not sure where the size regulation is now
thanks, i was just wondering, i dont remember seeing any under the ft.
deck,,, my maritime skiff 20D is full of flotation under the floor deck, it is supposed to be unsinkable

The 22's have foam outboard of the stringers and in front of the fuel tank between the stringers. I highly doubt there is enough to keep it afloat though
Pic is from an 04
Why is faster never fast enough.
You must be looking at it wrong Carl. Our tanks are in the same location.

We both put floors in. Yeller did his just a little different than mine. My net weight gain was around 15 pounds and if I pull the carpet I am about 30 pounds lighter than stock. I did this out of necessity since the stupid little bin didn't begin to hold the gear I need to carry on the Great Lakes.
