Just came back from the Miami boat show...Came across a 17 ft. sweet 16 lookalike with some nice features...Hull looks identical..Brochure says 3 members of the raceing thunderbird back in 1966 had direct involvement in the design of the Hornet model one...Jim Wynne,Walt Walters,and Hal Hartmann the project engineer from United Technologies..Has the single bucket with the L shaped rear...Didn,t get a price, but they claim they can build it to your specs. in 3 weeks...Company was formed in Bristol Conn. in 2009..For more info. go to hornet marine . com
