    Fuel sender

I'd like to replace my 1996 16's fuel sending unit with the float-less style. Since my boat is in storage at the moment, does someone know the approximatel depth of a stock 16 fuel tank? thanks in advance.

    Richard,

I have a 1995 dated drawing of a 30g. tank for a 16. I don't know the date of the original drawing or the specific years that this tank went into. You will have inspect the tank in the boat and get the nameplate data off the tank in order to be sure. If you get this info, most likely you won't have to stick the tank in order to get the depth.

Get back to me whenever you can. Bob
