HP Increase Means Prop Pitch Increase ??

My Donzi 26zx had a 502 carb engine 415hp.....factory says this engine has a max rpm of 5200rpm.....

    i hit 4900rpm @ wot with a 4bladed Bravo 1 24p prop.....

im gonna install a 600hp engine, that on the dyno its max hp comes out at 5500rpm.....

my question is, would i need to a bigger prop ? since i need to increase about 600rpm to get to the 5500rpm of the new engine....

i know this all depends on trial and error, but any experiences and info would be appreciated...

    thanks

Ive found just spining your prop faster may work. best to run at the right rpm,s to the highest hp. Like the power curve would show. just have to try different props.
