I have a 1997 275 LXC 454 Bravo III, or should i say had a Bravo III. The outdrive was stolen and I am not sure what prop size or gear ratio the Bravo III was. If anyone could help me on this I would really be greatful.
Thanks,
pkndes

You were probably running the 2:1 ratio. My guess is ,if you have a dealer with a good prop testing/exchange plan , try a 22" set first , 24 might be a bit much.
Don't ding a set of test props ! !
Just because something's old doesn't mean you throw it away !
Just so you know a bravo 1 will bolt up and be a whole lot cheaper.
It may or may not be worth it to you. My Dad and I did the swap on a 28 Formula (drives stolen) and it ran great with the B1's and we managed to get them for $500 each instead of paying thousands for each BIII.
We went with 1.5 ratio B1 because they were common (i.e. the cheapest) and then backed into the prop size... 4 blade bravo 1 props.
Thanks, I am going to put a Bravo 3 back on the boat. Does anyone know if the newer swept back style will bolt directly on?
