Potential Donzi F23 Walkaround owner?

Hello! I'm considering buy a Donzi F-23 walkaround, but could use some advice about this boat. I haven't been able to find much info on this model, is it a solid hull design? I fish the Delaware Bay mainly and occasionally will head out in the ocean. Does this hull have a nice ride or will it beat me to death in some chop? It comes with a 225hp Johnson on a bracket, any ideas what the top speed would be? Any info would help, thanks in advance!

There are a bunch of sites that discuss a broader array of boats, such as walkarounds, cruisers, etc... I'm certainly not an expert, but I found thehulltruth.com helpful when I had my old center console.

I looked hard at one of these boats a couple of years ago. I thought at the time that it was a lot of boat for the money compared to other brands, plus it was a Donzi. It appeared to have a lot of nice well thought out features and the hull appeared to be rock solid with a decent deadrise.

Unfortunately, I did not get to sea trial the boat and I do not know the build quality of this vintage Donzi. It looks like a good fishing/family boat.

Looks like a nice setup for Delaware Bay. Nice deck area, Add says the 225 is not running.

I own one of these boats and its a tank. It handles the chop of the bay very well, but like all small boats in tight seas you get bounced around a bit, till you trim it down right then its very bearable. As you know this fall season was a little breezy, I made it out every time I wanted to, within reasonable limits, no fish worth dieing for!!

Well, my offer was accepted so barring a failed survey I'll be able to remove "Potential" from the thread title. Just need to make sure the deck and transom are solid, which I'm pretty sure they are.
