    29zf and counter rotation

On a donzi 29zf does anyone know if it makes any difference which side the counter rotating engine is mounted on. Mine is on the starboard and on a previous boat I had (different make) it was on the Port.

It can sometimes make a difference. Sometimes spinning one way versus another can sometimes change speed @ top end, but it can also sometimes make docking or backing more difficult. Jamie / Lakeside

What you are saying is the props are on the opposite side of your previous boat, the engines are both standard rotation the direction change is in the drive not the engine. There are several discussions on twin engine prop rotation, use the boards search feature there may be some helpful information in the posts.
