    1988 22

Thanks for the attention - I'm kinda fond of it. That would be my boat. Its a 1988 22 Classic. I bought it in Texas when it was 20 years old. This pic above was its third trip to AOTH.
Below is a pic on the day I purchased it.

    Sweet!! sweet 16

It does in fact look like mine, but my interior looks a bit lighter in colour. Thanks for the response. Mine was sold to me as a 1990 but the transom says it was built in 1989. It has a merc powertrain, low hours and I love the colour and the fact that you don't see it very often. Happy New Years! Thanks again Jason

    Wazzy,

You are the only other 20+ year old grey boat I have seen. I have seen a grey Shelby (GT?) but its just beginning life.

Below are some kind words MOP (Phil) sent me when he saw my bucket seats and I noticed yours are still "in harms way" . (the seat adjustment rod that is.)

My boat was made in Nov of 1987. Not sure how it came but currently its all Merc w/ bravo.

"Nice boat good colors, must crank with the 502. I notice your buckets have not been swapped, swapping them side to side saves ankles and cuss words. To do it you may have to egg the holes for the rods if it has not been done yet, it will be one of the most appreciated mods!

The owner made it himself! You cant see it in the spray, but he put side-exhaust on it as well. The boat ran well (even when he dropped a cylinder), and was in great shape. I cant remember their names, but they were a lot of fun and AOTH X was their first AOTH. Hope they come back. I think they even won an award during the judging.
