    2006 22 classic windshield material?

Anyone know what the material is for the 2006 22 classic windshield?

    1. What do you use to polish out whirled marks?
    2. What do you use to polish out hairline scratches...I can feel them with the fingernail.

Look here. I use their polishes for everything. They make one for plastics as well.

I have had great luck using 3M light duty compounds or polishes followed by a glazing compound or a good wax to bring plastic windshields to a high gloss finish. When using a machine buffer pad, just don't spend too long with too much pressure on any one place or you can burn (melt) the surface. You can wet sand the scratches out first with 500 or higher grit wet/dry paper. Make sure you wet sand a relatively large area instead of just where the scratch is located or you will see distortion in that area when looking through it. Plastic windshields polish out fairly quickly since the material is so soft. You can use this same procedure on the automobile headlamp covers that are made of plastic and get "foggy" looking. I don't believe there is much you can do when the plastic becomes crazed or fractured. Hope this helps. Bill
