    small blocks

been doing some research to buy a new (used) boat. several sbc have blowen head gaskets and melted the block between cylinders. in 2004 merc had some bad torque wrenchs and the 6.2's had rod failer. all this makes me a little leary of the newer sb's. what do yall think

I've got the 6.2 in the 18, 06' and have about 350ish hours on it, only thing I've done to the engine is add SM exhaust and change oil, filter and plugs. I don't beat on it all the time but I also don't baby it! Steve
