    This appears to be a well cared for 16.

    And it has a lot of "desirable" options;
    • V8 w/4 bbl
    • trim tabs
    • thru-hull exhaust
    • remote oil filter (this is HUGE if you have ever had to change one in the original location)
    • new canvas
    • nice trailer with new tires

    I would hope this is bought by someone who appreciates the bargain this would be at the asking price. I will have close to $20K in my restoration (if all my time is worth $0) before my boat will be like this.

    And new ones are over $40K?

    N2O...

    Are you sure, only $20K in restoration? Is that the real number or just the "highest acceptable number" that you can tell your wife without getting the veto? I think my "real" restoration number is much higher than I let myself believe. I never really account for all the little and medium restoration stuff I have bought.

    I agree...
    $11.9K is a nice deal for a great looking boat that doesn't need paint, seats, motor work, new gas tank (deck off), fiberglass, decals, gauges, wiring, and the rest...
