A couple months ago I bought brand new Holly 830 mech secondary carbs and the first time I unscrewed one of the squirters, the casting thread stripped when I put it back in. Ugh! I put in a drop of the red permetex and gently tightened it and it worked. So I would give it a try if you are talking about the mounting screw threads and not the rubber seal around the sender.

The number 2 should work. I use High Tack 80062 or 80063. What kind of gasket material are you using?

Gasoila is about the only product that will continually resist gasoline leakage, they make several products for specialized sealing. It should be kept on hand for stuff like this.

Ditto that--I've had nothing but good luck with Gasoila so far.

Don't use anything permanent. Use the E-Seal.

Bob, I'm trying to talk him in to getting one of your senders. That way he makes only one trip under the dash, and won't need to be towed at AOTH anymore. Garden hoses in and around Jamestown will be safe.
