    Pipnit - it dyno'd right @ 600 HP and 586 ft. Lbs.

Carl - Thanks, I developed an oil leak due to a timing cover bolt and pucked a bunch of oil in the bilge, but other than that yes it ran pretty good. Still need to work with props or a possible re-gear in the upper to get e everything out of it.

Yes it's an EFI Whipple Supercharger, we took the block over .030 changed pistons to a forged deeper dish than stock dropping compression to around 8.8:1, changed to aluminum heads with bigger 2.02, 1.60 valves with 1.6 full roller rockers and a slightly larger than stock cam, and added a 7 qt. Oil pan and a medium size oil cooler, the Whipple is the kit for a stock 6.2 but we added 2 additional injectors account of the other mods. Bolting the "Whipple kit for the 6.2" on a factory engine would net you somewhere in the 470-485 ish HP, mine had 362 hrs on it and I wasn't a big fan of boosting the factory engine with non forged pistons, so we figured if we are going that far into it we'd change the other stuff also and get a lil added insurance against detonation with the aluminum heads. Got it back from the dyno final result is 560 hp@6100 and tq of 535 ft/lbs available from 3100 till 6100 peaks at 544@4000 rpm have Ã* pair of lighting headers to swap whit THE cmi 's due tho THE longer runners and better collector would give Ã* little more power

I'm not gonna try out do the engineering on some of these but since my family owns the biggest Electroplating Company in the world it could get interesting what I came up with for bling in the winter time.....lol

    Yea~
The problem is~ Nobody runs a boat at anywhere near or around 6100 RPM
Not realistic top engine speeds in a Donzi.

    Still a very cool engine.

Hmm, I run mine at 5,800 I believe I know of a few others running at least 5,800 or above. So yes there are a few of us doing so, and for the nay sayers the drives are still living.

I always heard that the bravo,s will hold up to 6000 rpm and the other 100 will not be a big deal ,we want to hit the 100mph and the boat is not a donzi (sorry!!) I am here a lot because I love the classics and there's alot of blackhawk information and knowledge .

And I don't think I go WOT for a long time as the waters here are not to big .

    thx
