The picture shows the engine with a Quick Fuel 1050 supercharger carb on it.
Went to a 2.85" top pulley, which spun the blower to 14,700 at 5,700 rpms. Also added methanol injection, running 29%, so I wasn't using the methanol as fuel, mostly to cool the intake charge. Installed a temp sender in one of the intake runners, which showed the temp dropped from 190 to 110 when the methanol kicked in (had it boost activated). We never got this sorted out properly, and decided to go a different route with the engine.

Cool thread to bring back. So many of the pics are missing now though.

Researching the choices for a 350.
I've used/had Gils and Stainless marine on Big Blocks over time.
Harden seems to be the least expensive at $1600 but charges an extra $200 for coating for salt water and an extra $400 for the longer stainless risers.
Stainless marine $2700 for basic kit so most expensive other than tubular headers.
Eddie marine is $2000 with anodized manifolds and long stainless risers.
Imco similar to Eddie but $2300
Leaning toward the Eddie Marine...
Thoughts?
Thank you, Patrick

Spending money already Pat? That's the boating spirit.
Personally I wouldn't worry about getting Hardin's coating, provided you flush after every use.
I know most would disagree with that, but I steadfastly believe, that salt water is not the killer that most make it out to be. Lack of flushing afterwards makes it a killer.
On my 16, I had aluminum log manifolds, aluminum jet drive, aluminum drive impellor and aluminum intake (with open water passages).
I had those same items for the whole 18yrs I had the boat and there was absolutely no sign of corrosion on any of it. (And unlike my current boat, I used that one A LOT).
I didn't boat entirely in salt, but a good estimate would be 40% salt, 40% brackish, 20% fresh.
Anyways, that's my 2 cents.
Why is faster never fast enough.
