What size prop do I need to use for a volvo drive?

I have a 1968 Sweet 16 with a 302 Ford that puts out about 300 hp with a Volvo Penta Hollam and Moody, and I am only running about 50 mph on the water. I need to know what size prop to put on so that I can get up to about 65 mph on the water; with still a good hole shot. Anybody have any suggestions?

I sell SS props that work very well, but that combo will not go 65 with that power. 58 on a good day

What you did not mention was the size and type of the prop you are using now.

I ran everything but the kitchen sink on my 67 16

    from a spinelli 21 , chopper 25, cleaver 26, ultra 22 / 24 , elephant ear 23
    solas 19 21 23

I had a 310 hp 351 holman moody the best I saw was 62 with a 21 solas but day to day 57-58 was it.

you'll find that around 53 ish the boat with most props will become a handful
