    bertram 24-1971

    anyone know anything about these boats? straight 6cyl-I/O Can it compare to a formula 233 or bertram 25?

    Bertram made a few boats in the late 60's early 70's to race around in not unlike SeaCraft or a few others...looks like if it was powered better it would be a pretty nice running boat but with a 6 cylinder its a little anemic to me...

    There is one out by me with a bracket and a big Merc, black hull done over very nicely!

    I am in the final stages of complete makeover of the one that was on the Hull Truth. I have only briefly water tested it thus far, but I firmly believe it will out run the Formula in anything. There is also no resemblance or similarity to the Bertram 25 which is wider, deeper and heavier. This is a very different Bertram hull.
