    Header seals

Just launched the 22ZX - Tyler Crockett and i raced a 24 Velocity - Port Huron to SCS - full throttle hour run. Noticed the large clamp on the header collectors was loose and spitting black carbon and water down into the bilge. Tightened the clamps but the starboard side still has minor leak. Anyone familiar with these seals - are they damaged easily by exhaust gas leakage? Are they very easy to change out? Any quick fixes? Boat is equipped with CMI E-top headers with CMI diverter exensions and CMI tips. Thanks
