    TRS trans. oil...

    What's the procedure for checking the transmission oil in a TRS....I think they're BW?....what type of fluid??

    It's got a dip stick if it is a Borg. ATF to the full line.

    Aaron from Merc they said to check it hot to the fill line on the dipstick type A, but thats hard to find so for the last 20 years I have used Dexron III with a little Lucas trans additive. I had the Trs trans in my 27' Magnums , 38' KV Scarab & my 29' Mirage with no problems.. Here is the whole story from the Merc manual. WITH THE BW trans I would use type F & fill as needed. h2o
