    hydraulic steering hose

Does anybody know what psi rating good external steering hoses are for Imco,Marine Machine,Latham etc. I would have thought 3000 psi,but not sure.

It depends on how the system relief valve is set, if it has one.
The GM type power steering pump will put out about 1,100 PSI.
My relief valve is set at 900 PSI.
You probably want a working pressure rating of at least twice of actual, and a burst pressure of four times actual working pressure.
    But I'm just guessing here.

Thanks for the reply, although I have a full hydraulic steering ,one of the hoses has a pin hole leak and I need to replace it , I will take it with me and see if they can match it up,I want to be a little on the overkill side!

    Question

What ID hose are most of the systems using?
