How many outboards?

I know there were 170 16 OBs made in the 70's. Some questions:
1) Is that number exact or do we just know it was about 170?
2) How many outboard 16s were made in the 90's when they made them again for awhile?
3) I have seen one picture of a 90's vintage boat and there were some differences.... the only one I remember was the rear hatches on the sides of the motor well.... any others?

1) 170 total +/- one hull
2) 5 +/- one hull
3) the biggest difference with the newer ones, they were classic hulls and decks so no lounge seating. they were made in 1995 ish the same year as the first 2+2 16 classic so the few OB they made were also 2+2 seating.
