    Sweet 16 top speeds ?

I'm curious how fast you guys are going in Sweet 16s and with what engine/drive/prop setup. Mine only has a 4.3 and runs low 50s so far. I wish I had a V8 !

The first video is of a boat Rootsy used to own. If I remember he had a nicely warmed up small block Chevy, somewhere around 425 hp and also had an SS shorty. He had a GPS all time high of 80.??.

The second video is Sweet Cheekz owned by Parnell. His has a 500 hp SBC and also has an SS shorty, with a similar top speed.

I never saw Rootsy's boat, but I have seen Parnell's and it is over the top spectacular.

There is another 16 (Younger) that is running a 400+ hp engine and a Blackhawk drive. He has run 84+ gps mph, and the consensus is there is more left with some additional tweaking.

Lastly, Fluffy Foo Foo purchased a wicked 16 that was supercharged and was alleged to run in the high 80s/ low 90s. I believe the engine semi-destructed on him before he had much seat time, so no top speed numbers came out.

Cool footage of the 16 and it looks like a really solid build but I guess it's true that beauty IS in the eye of the beholder, lol.
