    Purty neat 502!

    Finally got to post a couple of pics of the motor. Fasttrucker did a really good job on it.

    Thanks Tom. I can get right at 80 with the right conditions. Not bad for a single motor!

    Here are a couple of high comp engines with whipple 3.3's. Those would work great on the 502
    2001 35 Fountain Lightning w500 EFI's
    1973 X-18 - Merc 383 Magnum
    1974 Chris Craft Roamer with 1271 TI's

    Those engines are 598's with a 10-1 compression. They started as carb N/A engines. My buddy john used his same carbs but rejetted them. The 3.3's were just enough blower. He could have actually used a little more.

    They pulled around 925hp with premium and 1,050 with race gas (that is where they started running out of blower).

    These Whipple's have big coolers (MOAC - Mother Of All Cooler's) to keep things well chilled.

    I am guessing that your engine would easily make over 800 hp with that setup.
