    Gil Vs. Stock risers

I have a set of risers for Gil offshore exhaust. I didn't think I could use them with my stock risers, but now I'm thinking they might work because my boat was initially set up for closed cooling and the manifold is separate from the riser

So, will Gil offshore risers fit the stock merc manifold? I can pull everything apart tomorrow to try it out, but it would be easier if someone knew the dimensions off hand...

I think the flange bolt holes are 4" C to C. I can let you know tomorrow.

Thanks for posting George... it made me actually think for a second and I pulled out the tape measure.

My stock risers on the Minx have a 3.5 inch center to center base. The Gil risers in my garage have a 4.5 inch center to center base.

It was a good dream while it lasted
