    350hp? I'm told
Volvo Penta 290 with a Cone

It also has "S&S" stamped next to the 29. Does anyone know if that means Stainless Steel or if it is a manufacturer's name?

    76 ski 16. 351/penta 280.

    Forrester.
How do you get so much out ot your boat. My 1976 model like yours is heavier than the new stuff.

At 4200RPM I can get about 47 GPS. if I push it to 4500 I cna get 52gps.

I assume the 351 is about 260HP its fresh and the out drive is in good condition.

the specs for ford 351 and 302 say 4200 is max rpm, what allow you to exceed this.

PS do you have trim tabs and do you feel they are worth it.

    thanks

    thanks.
