    Blackhawk What's it worth?

    Need help determining price.
    I have a 1996 Blackhawk with the 502EFI, estimated hrs 475.Overall good to excellent condition,freshwater only.Navy hull/ stripe. Matching cockpit cover,plus full cover.K-planes, gaffrig gauges.Matching eagle tandem trailer w/spare.

    I'm not sure if a Blackhawk is worth more than a standard 22C with the same power? I would think yes.
    If the engine and drive are original, they are, in my opinion vary close to needing a refresh/rebuild.

    My Buddy sold his...

    My friend bought the 22 Classic in NY, LI from I think Mitch? He decided since his girlfriend wouldn't ride in he had to sell it. I told him not to run it wide open with her in it but he didn't listen,
    Anyhow, he sold ot for 20K. To me it was nice but a little edgy. It was a regular 22 Classic with a Black Hawk drive. Went like the devil but as you can imagine, it was a handful.
    By the way, he sold it quickly and easily. He almost bought a few true Black Hawks but they were just too far away. I think the Black Hawks are hard to sell.

    I know a guy who last year paid $8k for a mint Black Hawk drive only just to have it as backup.
