Can't help you with the Adobe stuff, but the screen should clear up if you pull out, clean and then reinstall the ribbon cable to the screen. If not, you have a blown out chip on your video. Laps tops are almost never worth it to fix or even figure out. If you have important stuff on the drive you can just remove it from the lap top and make it a remote USB drive for your next computer. The boxes with power supplies and USB cost about $20 on the secondary market like Ebay and electronics rebuilders.

Possible Adobe fix.
Quite awhile back I had an Adobe prob, what was recomended and worked for me was to find an upgrade on the net and down load it. Once opened and loaded the prob went away!
